| Amiga-Classics is site devoted entirely to the
preservation and promotion of the classic Amigas of yesterday - The 500,
500+, 600 and 1200 range of Amigas.  For more information about the

      Q.
      Why was Amiga-Classics set
      up? A.  After
recently buying an Amiga 600 after selling my first Amiga (An A500+) about
6 years ago, I found there were practically no sites devoted to the most
popular Amigas (500, 500+, 600 and 1200) that nearly everyone has owned at
some point in their lives.  Most of the sites were about the Amiga
2000/3000 and 4000 and talked about complicated hardware and software
issues that the average Amiga owner has no interest in. Q.  What is so
special about the classic Amigas? A.
Well for a start they NEVER went wrong.  Just look at modern
PCs with their compatibility problems and hardware conflicts.  The
Amigas were compact, and very cheap to own and buy games for.  You
could copy games and swap games with your mates and play decent two player games
      without
'illegal operation' messages appearing after about 15 minutes. Q.  What's the
      future for Amiga-Classics? A.  Well.  I plan
to keep on updating the site, adding new content and make owning an Amiga
that little bit more enjoyable.  Remember, I need your input to help improve
the site, so if you have any feedback, please get in touch. |
